This Playbuilder site was finished in March 2010 by Cheshire West and Chester Council. Designed internally by the council, their Landscape Architects selected our equipment to fit in with the natural environment. The council chose an Amazon unit from our Jungle Climber range and an Aerial Runway, two of our bestsellers for Playbuilder projects across the country.
Speaking about this site Edd Snell, Landscape Architect at the council, commented "the Playdale equipment at the Little Wood is ideal for its setting. The use of natural materials blends with the woodland where it is placed. The non-descriptive andunfamiliar shape of the Amazon creates an interesting feature, children seem to enjoy playing on it and climb and hang in all sorts of different ways. The Aerial Runway is popular, especially with the girls, next time if the site allows I would make it longer and possibly install two side by side".
To date, we have supplied equipment to more than 370 Play Pathfinder / Playbuilder sites. Little Wood is just one of the many successful Playdale sites providing fun and enjoyment for eight - 13 year olds across the country as part of this government funded scheme.
