Playdale Playgrounds Ltd, in conjunction with the children of Juniper Hill School Council, and have designed an exciting new playground for the pupils of Juniper Hill School.

Juniper Hill is a happy, inclusive school that enables its pupils to become responsible, caring children who take pride in themselves and their community. Their aim is to provide the best possible learning opportunities for everyone and, in partnership with parents and help their children to fulfil their potential academically, creatively, physically and socially.

After 3 years of fundraising by all the children, parents, teachers, governors and staff, Juniper Hill Primary School in Flackwell Heath are delighted with and enjoying their newly refurbished play area provided by Playdale Playgrounds.

The old play area failed a safety inspection; it was worn, unimaginative and no longer appealing to the children during their break times. Thanks to Playdale Playgrounds break times now offer a fresh challenge for the children. The new play area was designed with the help of the children on the school council and caters for the interest of all children from 4years to 11years old.

Head Teacher Paul Grandidge stated, “Juniper Hill School is a thriving, vibrant and successful community in which each individual is valued and encouraged to develop fully his or her potential. We are constantly seeking to improve and build on our many strengths and achievements. It is a school in which everyone should, and does, take great pride”

The play area now incorporates an exciting New Wave unit from the Juke Box range scaling over 3meters high, An Adventure Trial, and various Activity Play Panels. The area now enables the children not only to have fun but also to learn and develop themselves. Improving their coordination, physical development, and social skills in a fun exciting environment.

Debbie Kite, Parent Governor of Juniper Hill School said they are “very pleased with their new adventure playground and the children are very excited”.
