Children in Need launch small grants scheme

BBC Children in Need have launched a new small grants scheme, awarding funding of up to £10,000 to those working with disadvantaged children and young people aged 18 years and under.
The grants, for registered charities and not-for-profit organisations, can be used to help fund your new playground.
There are four separate opportunities to apply for a small grant each year. In 2010 the deadlines are:
15th January
15th April
15th July
15th October
