British Manufacturing
We are proud to be one of the few British owned manufacturing companies in the children's outdoor playground equipment industry. All of our operations are audited to BS EN ISO9001 Quality Assurance Procedures, which guarantees that our manufacturing process is continually monitored and controlled by regular third party audits from the British Standards Institution.
Our fully-trained production teams manufacture our range of outdoor children's playground equipment in our purpose-built factory in the North West. They are closely involved in operational objectives to ensure the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes.
The main processes involve the production of timber poles and formed timber, through our Timber and Joinery workshops, the fabrication of all steel components in Engineering, through to shot blasting and painting, and the production of compact grade laminate panels, chain assemblies and steel core ropes and nets.
Environmental Awareness
Following the successful introduction of ISO9000, we have introduced ISO14001 systems into all of our operations, we have been awarded full independent accreditation by BSI for compliance to ISO 14001.
Below are several examples of how we have achieved and maintain this accreditation:
- Our purpose-built office and factory is designed to provide a safe and clean environment for its employees and surrounding public.
- We investigate and introduce methods to reduce consumption of materials in all our operations.
- We adhere to all relevant legislation controlling environmental issues.
- We purchase from sustainable resources and use, if possible, recycled materials.
- We continually investigate means of reducing or eliminating emissions from existing processes.
- Wherever possible, we only purchase raw materials and products from companies demonstrating an understanding of environmental issues or those with ISO14001 certification. Approval of suppliers is controlled by our Quality Assurance System ISO90001.
- We dispose of any refuse generated by our operations using recognised waste management companies.
- We always consult our workforce and the general public concerning environmental issues
