Elham Playground “an example of the Big Society at its best”


An eagerly awaited Playdale play area has officially opened in Elham, Kent after three years of fundraising.

The £100,000 adventure playground was the result of a community effort, led by three local mothers, which Folkestone and Hythe MP Damian Collins told the BBC represented “An example of the Big Society at its best’”.
