Job Title :Production Fabricator/Welder
Salary :£24,675 to £29,714 (Permanent, full-time position)
Hours of work: – Mon to Thurs 7.30am – 4.30pm,
Halfday Fridays 7.30am – 12.45pm (38 hours per week)
Location :Ulverston, South Cumbria

Due to current growth in our city product range, we have a vacancy for a Fabricator/Welder.
The Role
- Perform general fabrication and Tig welding of various forms of circular and square hollow section stainless steel fabrications
- Use of a wide range of fabrication machinery
- Using jigs to fabricate parts
- Read, understand and follow job order specifications, engineering drawings and works order instructions.
- Maintaining good housekeeping standards
The Person
- Experience working with stainless steel and mild steel preferred but not essential
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Flexible attitude to overtime when required
- The ability to work as part of a team, with a flexible “can do” attitude to work and good work ethic is essential
- Must have the ability to undertake manual handling duties
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
This is a permanent, full-time position based at our Ulverston factory.
