Last week a group of Year 6 children from Holy Family School in Barrow visited Playdale for a behind the scenes tour.
Earlier this year the children took part in a playground design competition for Young Enterprise and were awarded the tour of Playdale as their prize for coming first place. As part of the competition the children had to assign themselves job roles within the team which ranged from Managing Director to Health and Safety Manager. Their visit to Playdale allowed them to meet their counterparts and ask questions to members of staff about the business.
The children particularly enjoyed their tour of our manufacturing facility and even got to see their school name being routed on to a plaque to take away with them.

The children had lots of interesting questions on their tour and we were very impressed with their preparation for the day”
The trip concluded with a visit to the Leven Valley Playing Fields where the children played on the Playdale playground installed there.
