Midlands Makeover

2011 brought the Midlands two fantastic playgrounds, as Dutton Close Residents Association, Stoke Heath, and St. Georges Community Hub, Newtown, unveiled their new children’s play areas.

Dutton Close boasts an impressive site, incorporating a Multi-Use Games Area and the challenging Jungle Climber, among other items. While St. Georges Community Hub hosts an array of Play Panels, Trim Trail and a Little Hamlet.

Both communities are delighted with the end result and the service that Playdale provided throughout the project. Children in the two areas are more than happy and have been flocking to the playgrounds to test out their new playground equipment.

Mrs Brimley, the Chairperson for Dutton Close Residents Association, is delighted with the range of products and the layout of the playground, saying; “It is sturdy, attractive and appealing to people of all ages, and has become a focal point of the estate. Everyone comments on the great range of equipment and how well set out it is.

“St. Georges Community Hub was formally opened by the Children’s Minister, Tim Loughton, who said; “‘Playdale have been excellent to work with from the initial design brief right through to the creation of the playground. The finished product looks spectacular and is in constant use by many very happy children.”
