Playdale Playgrounds Ltd is a international business that manufactures playground equipment. We pride ourselves on creating exciting, innovative and educational outdoor play equipment that makes children smile all over the world.
Our head office, manufacturing facilities and global distribution centre are situated on the edge of the Lake District in Cumbria, UK. We have a fantastic team of 110 people and have created over 20,000 play areas in 47 countries across the world.
Old Times
Playdale Playgrounds Ltd was born in 1978 but the family business dates back to 1735, having passed through nine generations of Croasdales to John and Gill.
There have been many changes to our business over the years as it has progressed from a coopers, hoopers, woodmongers and timber merchants, before evolving into the international playground equipment manufacturing company that it is today.
