Does your playground equipment meet the Safety Standards?

How safe is your playground?

“Knowing that our playground equipment is kitemarked gives me the peace of mind that the children in my care are safe whilst having fun” – Janine Pearce, Yarlside Academy, Barrow-in-Furness.

The playground standard EN1176 helps protect children playing. All Playdale manufactured equipment has been independently tested and most importantly been certified as proof of compliance to the European Playground Safety Standard.

There is a huge difference between being certified and saying that you ‘conform to the safety standards’. These are not the same thing. Confusing them could compromise the safety of children.
