About me:

I am Cumbrian born and bred and feel incredibly lucky to live and work in this beautiful part of the world.

I have always worked in Human Resources and have undertaken various areas of studying in this field. I have attained  Level 7 CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) Human Resource Management and also have an MA in HR Management. All my studying has been done through the University of Central Lancashire.

When I’m not working or studying (!) I enjoy getting out walking on the Cumbrian fells with my two lovely labradors. I also enjoy yoga and travelling abroad.

Best thing about my job:

Since joining Team Playdale it has been great to be involved with the journey and progression of our people so far, embedding business improvements & innovation and working hard to instil a fresh, new team culture.

Favourite playground:

There is a timber playground at Lindale, close to my home which is a great example of the longevity of Playdale equipment as it is about twenty years old and still going strong! It’s great fun taking my numerous nieces, nephews and godchildren there to let off steam.

What our customers say...

The entire process has been managed perfectly.  Not only are the stations all good quality ,so have the communications and interactions off the whole team.  From initial response to my enquiry, it’s been a fantastic experience and the end to end management, comms and delivery have been second to none.

The play area sits very well into the landscape and all of the equipment is proving to be incredibly popular with a wide age range of children.  It has brought families and children out of their houses to play and socialise in just the way we had hoped for.  We have even had coverage in the local newspaper, the Biggleswade Chronicle, copy of printed and online articles attached with a couple of additional photos.  I also have several photos of the equipment without children which I will send separately and high res copies are available if you would like to use any in your own communications. In summary, the play area although small is a real achievement for Ickwell and we would like to thank you for your help in supporting us along the journey to making it a reality.  Playdale have provided us with an excellent service, design and quality installation which we are grateful for.

I have worked with Playdale for almost 2 years now and can honestly say how helpful and professional they have been throughout that time. From helping me with the consultations through to the completed order after winning the tender, their experience has shone through. Harry and the team were incredibly patient with helping me to perfect the final design and I found their 3d designs were visually more appealing than the competition. They went all out to ensure our requirements were met and assisted wherever they could with our Play Area theming needs. I cannot wait to see the final installation! I have no hesitation in recommending Playdale for any new play area project.

The Playdale team worked closely with us to develop a vibrant theme for our new adventure playground at Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse, which is a unique site. The designs presented by Playdale fitted in with our woodland and heritage environment really well. The installation of the new playground equipment came with complications including a challenging split level location, active protected wildlife and the Covid-19 lockdown but the Playdale team were flexible and were able to deliver a fantastic looking adventure playground area for us despite some challenges along the way. Our visitors are now enjoying the play equipment and the new bespoke tower units certainly complement the woodland surroundings and have the wow factor we were hoping to achieve.
