Students at The University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) enjoyed working on a Playdale project last month as part of their coursework, giving them some valuable experience and the chance to win a prize.
2nd year students on the BA(Hons) Product Design course were asked to generate proposals for new outdoor play equipment as part of their coursework, giving them a taste of what it would be like to work for a playground design company.
It gave students the opportunity to get hands-on experience of designing to client’s specifications, tested their organisational skills to meet deadlines, and to gain confidence presenting their ideas to clients.
A few members of our staff visited the university to oversee the designs and we’re pleased with the quality of their work, choosing three students to win Amazon vouchers.
