 | Playground Partnerships
| Kids First Trust has announced that schools within the UK that wish to improve their play spaces have the opportunity to apply for funding through the Playground Partnerships Awards. Visit www.playgroundpartnerships.org for more information. |
 | People's Millions | People's Millions has a total of £3.8m to give away; the lottery funded project offers up to £50,000 to help communities improve facilities and get more out of their local area.Funds are available to voluntary or community organizations, schools, local authorities and health bodies. Visit www.peoplesmillions.org.uk for more information. |
 | BBC Children in Need |
A small grants scheme has been launched for registered charities and not-for-profit organizations. Small grants of up to £10,000 are available for organizations working with disadvantaged children and young people aged 18 years old and under. |

Awards for All England is a simple small grants scheme making awards of between £300 and £10,000. The Awards for All programme aims to help improve local communities and the lives of people most in need.

Landfill Communities Fund Scheme: Grants are available to improve community playgrounds for those within a certain proximity of a landfill site. Entrust, Biffaward, Sita Trust, Yorventure, Wren, and Community First are all useful websites to visit.

Playdale's Top 5 Playground Funding Tips
To help you in applying for a grant for new play equipment we have put together some tips to help you secure your play area funding.
- Always read the guidance notes and application form thoroughly before beginning the application.
- Make contact with the grant awarding body to ask questions and discuss ideas before an application is submitted.
- Demonstrate clearly the needs of the project and why it is important that these needs are met and state the benefits of the project community/school.
- Answer all questions on the application form in a clear and concise manner.
- Remember to submit any documents the grant awarding body has requested such as annual accounts or quotations.
