Joined Playdale
I originally joined Playdale in 2012 and returned in 2022.
About me:
I was born in the South but moved to the North over 20 years ago. I live in Penistone, a small market town in South Yorkshire, and I love it here ! I live with my wonderful partner, who, fortunately for me, enjoys cooking, and two lovely daughters, one of whom is a student at the University of Liverpool. I enjoy walking and being out in nature, but I also enjoy a good night out with good food and company.
Best thing about my job:
I enjoy meeting new people and seeing their vision of what they want in a play area come to life. It’s so rewarding to see a site you surveyed and designed get installed and full of children playing. Nothing beats driving through a village or town and seeing a playground in use and thinking to yourself, ‘I was a part of that.’
Favourite playground:
Cubley Hall, my local pub, has to be my favourite playground. It’s fantastic to sit outside with a glass of wine, taking in the view, and watching the families enjoy the space. The playground is made up of our City range, demonstrating that our stainless steel range is just as beautiful in a rural setting but doesn’t look out of place.
