Born in Bradford, I now reside in Rodley, Leeds, alongside my wonderful wife Katie and our adorable daughter, Alice. While I have a fondness for nearly any form of competitive sport, football and golf hold a special place in my heart. Additionally, I take great pleasure in the great outdoors, with the Peak District being one of my favorite destinations for exploration and adventure. Live music is another passion of mine, and whenever bands are on tour, I make it a point to visit new venues, aiming to experience as many as possible.
The best thing about my job:
I’ve always found joy in connecting with new people, but now having the opportunity to assist them in designing and creating incredible play areas for children of all ages is truly remarkable. The thought of being able to tell my daughter, as she grows older, that her dad played a part in delivering a specific playground fills me with immense pride and happiness. It’s a feeling that I cherish deeply.
The adventure play area at the National Trust’s Cragside visitor attraction in Northumberland which has a wide selection of our timber playground equipment, the first of which was installed in 1999! The equipment blends in really well with its rural setting and features a timber Aerial Runway, Jukebox Junior Multi-Play Unit, Springers, Little Hamlet Toddler Multi-Play Unit, Log Cabin, Mini Playframe, Twister and items from our timber Adventure Trail range. The equipment is still in great condition, packed with play value and the area has plenty to play on for all ages and abilities.
