About me:

I live near Bolton with my wife and two teenage boys.  During any free weekends we like to go walking in the hills of the Lake District, or further afield like the Pyrenees.  I also enjoy cycling and running with friends, and occasionally enter races just for fun. When I was younger and fitter, I completed an Ironman triathlon!

Best thing about my job:

The most rewarding aspect is witnessing the profound impact of our playgrounds on children’s lives worldwide.  It’s exciting to collaborate on projects that foster active, imaginative play, enhancing children’s physical and cognitive development. The joy that radiates from families enjoying our play equipment is immeasurable.  Additionally, engaging with diverse cultures and forging global partnerships fuels my passion for expanding our brand’s reach.

Favourite playground:

I’m fortunate to have seen Playdale play equipment all over the world, but the one that stands out is Carvers Reach, on the Gold Coast in Australia.  The residents are very lucky to have this on their doorstep.

What our customers say...

“The Playdale installation has transformed the playground experience for our families. The quality of the equipment is excellent. Children love exploring the playground and in particular the Techno rope climb and slide. This was a great investment.”
Simon Osborne, Manager, Speke Hall
The Playdale team worked closely with us to develop a vibrant theme for our new adventure playground at Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse, which is a unique site. The designs presented by Playdale fitted in with our woodland and heritage environment really well. The installation of the new playground equipment came with complications including a challenging split level location, active protected wildlife and the Covid-19 lockdown but the Playdale team were flexible and were able to deliver a fantastic looking adventure playground area for us despite some challenges along the way. Our visitors are now enjoying the play equipment and the new bespoke tower units certainly complement the woodland surroundings and have the wow factor we were hoping to achieve.

"We have been delighted with the work Playdale has done to bring to life Caribbean Cove at Weymouth SEA LIFE Adventure Park. At all stages of design, installation and commissioning we were able to collaborate to ensure the finished product met the overall brief. The quality and range of choices we had far exceeded our expectations and our young guests have had a thrilling time exploring all the great play opportunities that have been created to suit a wide range of ages."
