About me:
I live in a lovely village just outside the City of Cambridge with my wonderful Scottish wife and two grown up kids, one of which is now a student at University in Newcastle. Outside of my working life, I love cooking, something I picked up from my dad and I especially enjoy entertaining friends and family at the weekends. We are lucky with our beautiful City, as it has amazing history and places to walk and cycle – ‘without too many hills’. Swimming and Rugby are my sporting passions and I used to swim competitively when I was a little younger and fitter. Nowadays, I enjoy volunteering at my local swimming club, as am a qualified level 2 swimming coach.
Best thing about my job:
Working with our UK Partners to develop and create amazing World Class play spaces. Nothing beats visiting a completed project and seeing children & families enjoying the space. Just knowing I had a small part in its development is very rewarding.
