Customer Care Team
Andrew – RPII Playground Inspector
Back in 1993 I began working for Playdale as an Installer and then a Fabricator. Three years later in 1996 I started carrying out Operational Inspections all around the UK which led me to become what I am today, a Register Of Play Inspectors International (RPII) Independent Inspector. A regular playground inspection regime is so important and I find this an extremely rewarding role.
Paul – Playground Maintenance Engineer
I became a member of the Playdale Installation team in 2002, working my way up to the Team Leader position. Since 2014 I’ve been working alongside Chris and Andy as a Playground Maintenance Engineer. I love making sure our equipment is in tip-top condition to provide hours of fun for children all over the UK.
Mick – Playground Maintenance Engineer
I joined Playdale way back in 1990 and have covered various roles over the past 34 years. From Playground Installation Team Leader to Maintenance Manager, Premises/Facilities Manager, then onto Contracts Manager, and of course my current role as Maintenance Engineer. This role suits me best, as I still enjoy getting my hands dirty, meeting customers, and helping get their play areas back on track. I’ve seen the business grow from 30 people working out of a backyard with a few barns and outbuildings as workspaces to the global business we are today.
Leo – Playground Maintenance Engineer
I started working at Playdale in 2023 as a Warehouse Packer, but I already had experience installing Playdale equipment for my uncle’s company. In 2024, I transitioned into the role of Maintenance Engineer, and I’ve been enjoying being out on the road, fixing equipment, and helping keep play areas in top condition. It’s rewarding to know that my work makes a difference for the children and communities who use our products.
Rachael- Customer Care Coordinator
I joined Playdale in 2021 and fell straight into the Customer Care role, helping our customers to source parts to repair their playgrounds and arranging annual inspections. I love the fact that Playdale equipment is made to last, and we can help our customers maintain their Playgrounds to stand the test of time! I really enjoy my job and feel proud that Playdale contributes to children having fun all over the world!
Hannah-Customer Care Coordinator
I joined Playdale in 2022 as a Sales Co-ordinator for Main Sales, which gave me insight into the equipment and the process from a customer’s initial enquiry to the installation of the equipment. I then had the opportunity to move into the Customer Care Team, where I enjoy working, looking at all the drawings, and seeing how the equipment is assembled and works.
Leanne-Project Co-ordinator
I have been at Playdale since November 2021. I have held various roles within the operations team, including Project Co-ordinator for the Midlands, South, and Global customers, as well as Logistics Co-ordinator. I am now the Co-ordinator for all Customer Care jobs and our global customers.
My role is very busy, just how I like it, and I speak to many different people every day, which is the best part of my job. I love seeing older pieces of equipment being given a new lease of life after our engineers have worked their magic.
