Playdales 2023 Fundraising Success

#Team Playdale Achieve Fundraising Success for the NSPCC & Action for Children

Playdale continued its strong commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) with a focus on “Demonstrating Support For Our Community.” As part of our CSR initiatives, we dedicated volunteer support to the local community, specifically focusing on two prominent causes each year.

2023

At the beginning of 2023, #Team Playdale  were given the opportunity to nominate worthy causes for the company to support throughout the year. These nominations were then put to a company-wide vote, and after careful consideration, The NSPCC and Action for Children emerged as the top choices to support in 2023.

The team at Playdale  successfully raised an impressive total of £3,647 for our two charities. Throughout the year the dedicated efforts have allowed the team to contribute £1,505 to the NSPCC and £2,142 to Action for Children through a series of engaging fundraising events.

The response from the community has been truly remarkable. A variety of fundraising activities such as quiz nights, bake sales, raffles , and a shopping coach trip to Manchester, all of which brought people together and fostered a spirit of generosity and active participation. It is heartwarming to witness the community’s commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of children in need.

2024

At the close of last year, we select our chosen charitable causes for 2024. The votes were incredibly close, reflecting the strong emotional resonance of all the nominated causes. With so many remarkable charities and good causes, it was a challenging decision. However, the top two causes that received the most votes and will be our focus throughout 2024 are Bay Search and Rescue and Right to Play UK. We are excited to continue making a meaningful impact on these deserving causes, just as we did in 2023.
