Natural Play Integration at Ballymore Housing Development, Republic of Ireland
As part of a new Ballymore Homes development in Ireland, Playdale equipment was chosen for a community green space. Our distributor worked with the main project team to supply and install the specified equipment. This collaboration helped create a high-quality, inclusive and engaging play space for the new development.
The design team shaped the wider park to blend naturally into the surrounding environment. They included sloping terrain, open grass areas, wide paths, and rich landscaping with natural decorative elements.
The project team chose Playdale equipment to match the park’s natural look and feel. It offers inclusive, engaging play for children of all ages. The installation included an Inclusive Orbit roundabout, a grass-mounded Mini Tunnel, timber Log Walks, and an Embankment Scramble Net integrated into the sloped landscaping. Two timber Swings provide classic play value, while toddler-focused features such as the Timber Log Train and Little Explorers Advance encourage imaginative and active play for younger children.
This project shows how well-chosen playground equipment can become central to community life. It encourages outdoor play and social interaction in a safe, natural setting.
