It’s fantastic to see children enjoying Playdale playground equipment all around the world!
Client name: Moncy Club via our Distributor in China
Location: Beijing Olympic Park South, Beijing, China
An incredible new play area opened earlier this year at the former Olympic Park site in Beijing, China.
Beijing Olympic Park is where the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and Paralympics took place. Since the games it has been transformed into a comprehensive multifunctional activity centre for the public. The park successfully integrates sport with nature and this playground site inside the park is surrounded by beautiful greenery and woodland. One of the intentions of building the playground here was to bring the children closer to nature.
This development for the Moncy Club was the biggest project our distributors have accomplished to date.
The opening day, which took place on China’s National Children’s Day, was filmed for a news broadcast on CCTV; China’s equivalent of the national BBC news. Take a look at the short film here – (although the commentary is in Mandarin, we think the smiles translate very well)
All the featured products within this design are proving to be very popular, but we’ve heard that the children especially like the Mega Swing as they can share the fun with friends.
The impressive centre piece is the vast Himalayas Plus multi play tower unit (featured photo at the top); packed with fun, guaranteed to thrill and very eye catching! There is also a great selection from our Timber Adventure Trail range to let children climb, scramble, swing and crawl as they make their way through a variety of challenging obstacles (as you can see in the video).
The new playground is attracting children and families from far and wide and has provided the Olympic Park with a fantastic new facility.
The Moncy Club told us, “Playdale products are the perfect combination of art, fun and quality. Playdale have brought joy to the children and we love to witness their happy & healthy growth.”
