St Dunstan’s Recreation Ground Gets an Exciting Makeover!

Installation date: July 2013

St. Dunstan’s Recreation Ground in Buckinghamshire was a popular, well-sized park that needed a makeover. It was run down with old, rusty play equipment, so the aim of this project was to turn it into an exciting, vibrant play area with a range of equipment that would challenge children aged between 3 – 12 years.

The client wanted the project to be installed over a short period across the summer, so this play area was very much a quick turnaround, from collating ideas to receiving quotes and fulfilling designs.

The new play area looks great and is now packed with exciting, dynamic equipment that will keep children active for many years. A mix of stainless steel and timber play equipment blend perfectly together to provide a wide range of activities to test a number of skills.

Playdale initially followed the Town Council’s specification, and then incorporated other items that are popular favourites, such as the Rota Bounce and Board Rider. The playground also features a Cone Climber, a number of Adventure Trail products, Aerial Runway, Little Hamlet, Mega Swing and Little City unit.

The play area has something for everyone and it just goes to show how many different elements can be achieved within a relatively modest budget.

Kirsty Pope, Deputy Clerk, was pleased with the work Playdale carried out, saying: “Great Experience from start to finish. Good communication from the office. Hit all deadlines. Exceeded expectation of the local children and residents. Loved the visuals.”
