For the past three years, local charity St Mary’s Hospice has been #TeamPlaydales chosen good cause as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. We couldn’t let the occasion go by without remembering how much fun we had organising charity events in which #TeamPlaydale took part in. We have organised and participated in a variety of events including golf days, cake bakes, walking challenges, and even leg waxing, to name a few.
Clare Paling, St Mary’s Hospice Area Fundraising Manager, said: “The team at Playdale have worked amazingly hard to raise funds for St Mary’s and done everything you can imagine! We are so grateful to everyone at Playdale who took this cause to their heart.”
“The amount of money raised is an incredible gift for us to receive and will make a real difference to local families and their loved ones. It’s been a pleasure working with and getting to know the Playdale staff and we look forward to working with them again in the future.”
The final sum of £1,750 raised in 2021 was donated, bringing the total amount raised to more than £5,000!
