School invited to see inside the Playground factory

“The children had an amazing experience and were buzzing on our return to school with comments like…’that was best trip ever!’  and ‘I want to work at Playdale when I grow up!’ The staff are great at answering the children’s question and making us feel welcome. We can’t wait to see our new play equipment!” Mrs Barrett, Westholme Infants Teacher.

Schoolchildren from Westholme School in Blackburn visited Playdale HQ earlier this week for an educational behind-the-scenes tour of our Cumbria manufacturing facility. Year two students learned about the materials and methods used to create the final product, which will be installed at their school in May.

We were delighted to have the children at the factory , especially as this was the first time since Covid retrictions were lowered and all #TeamPlaydale staff members were avaialble to demonstrate all aspects of the business from design to production.

There was a lot of laughter, learning, and, of course, playground equipment testing. The children were able to try out some new play equipment in our outdoor prototype area as part of the tour.
