Quizical Fun for Charity!

On Friday, October 25th, #TeamPlaydale came together for a fantastic charity night at The Red Rose Club in Ulverston, aimed at raising awareness and funds for two incredible charities chosen by our staff: Bay Search and Rescue and Right to Play UK. The evening was filled with community spirit, laughter, and entertainment, featuring a quiz, stand-up bingo, and plenty of fun.

We are thrilled to announce that the event raised an impressive £700, which will directly benefit both Bay Search and Rescue and Right to Play UK.

Bay Search and Rescue is a dedicated team of skilled volunteers committed to saving lives during maritime emergencies. With their expertise in swift-water rescue and boat operations, they are equipped to handle challenging conditions, ensuring the safety of coastal communities, including those in our local area.

Right to Play UK shares Playdales passion for the power of play in children’s lives. They focus on play’s vital role in education, health, and social development. By collaborating with Right to Play UK, we affirm our commitment to children’s well-being, helping create inclusive play environments for underprivileged children and making a tangible impact on less advantaged communities through the universal language of play.

The night was not just about raising funds; it was also filled with joy and excitement! Stand-up bingo brought even more laughter, and the grand finale featured an impressive raffle with a wide array of fantastic prizes. We extend our gratitude to the local businesses and individuals who generously donated prizes, making this event possible. A special thank you goes out to all Playdale team members, Ulverston locals and sponsors, who played a vital role in the event’s success. Your support and contributions were instrumental in creating a truly memorable experience.
