Playdale offers a free, end-to-end playground design and consultancy service – from initial site survey through to final design presentation and phased funding support.

Every project is handled by a dedicated Area Manager and our in-house design team, ensuring your brief is translated accurately into a compliant, costed and ready-to-install scheme.

Free playground design and consultancy service

Our playground design and consultation service is completely free and carries no obligation. Discover what’s involved, from an in-person meeting to a site area survey.

Site survey and briefing

Every project begins with a site visit from your dedicated Area Manager, who will meet with you to discuss your brief, user group, timescales and budget.

They will carry out a full site survey – recording precise measurements and site conditions – so the design team has everything needed to produce accurate, buildable proposals.

There are no commitments at this stage; the consultation is free and without obligation.

Design and visualisation

Once the site survey is complete, our in-house design team will produce a full set of scaled plans, 2D illustrations, product sheets and 3D walkthroughs – giving you a clear, accurate picture of how the finished playground will look and function.

All designs are produced to scale and reflect the exact dimensions of your site, so what you see is what gets built.

Design presentation and quotation

Your Area Manager will present the completed designs to you in person, walking you through the proposals and itemised quotation.

Any revisions – to layout, equipment selection or phasing – are made at no additional cost. The presentation stage is designed to give you full confidence in the scheme before anything is ordered or committed to.

Funding support and phased planning

If your project requires external funding, Playdale can produce designs and phased development plans specifically structured to support grant applications. Proposals can be drawn to show a staged rollout over time, allowing you to apply for and install phases as budget becomes available.
