There are many aspects to consider when planning a playground project, some of which no one could even dream of before starting the process. When factoring in things like cost and safety, before you even get into designing the space how you envision it, there is a lot to think about. This is why Playdale offer a free and fully comprehensive consultancy service. We can guide you every step of the way, and our experience and expertise can help inform you all the way through the process of getting your perfect playground finished.
We’ve been designing playgrounds with clients for over 40 years and created over 23,000 play areas, so we’re sure that we can help you get your project off the ground. Our consultations usually take the following format –
We’ll arrange for you to meet your local Area Manager, who will come to see you for a chat about any ideas that you might have about the project, discuss your timescales and budgets and go over the basics with you. Our Area Managers can answer any questions you may have, give you some great advice on products, and make recommendations for what could work for your play area. They will then carry out a free site-survey, where they will measure your potential play area site, using laser scanner technology to record measurements and details to go forward with. You can arrange a consultation with your local Area manager by clicking here.
We use technology to make our processes more efficient and to ensure we provide our customers with the best quality and safest playground equipment possible. Find out more here.
This is the exciting part! Once your site-survey arrives at Playdale HQ, our super-talented Playground Design Team will work their magic and create a combination of scaled plans, 2D illustrations and picture sheets to bring your ideas to life. This should help give you a thorough idea of what your final play area will look like, and help you to envisage the final thing.
Your Area Manager will arrange a face-to-face meeting to present you with your fabulous new playground designs, and talk you through your playground quotation. This is a great chance to give any feedback on your designs and, if necessary, our Playground Design Team can make any changes to get your plans exactly how you want them. All of our team are hugely experienced, and working closely with you, can ensure you will be happy with the results.
If you’re applying for funding for your project, then your playground designs are a great tool to help back-up your application. Your plans can be drawn and presented to show a phased development over a long period of time, and you can install the phases as your play area budget allows. This may help if funds are only initially available for part of your final playground development. Your Area Managers can give you some invaluable advice on funding and we also offer a free Funding Guide & Workbook full of helpful tips.
We are with you every step of the way on the journey to getting your perfect playground. For your FREE, NO OBLIGATION consultation, please get in touch today. We look forward to meeting you!
