World class customer service

Someone once said, “Customers may forget what you said but they’ll never forget how you made them feel.”

This is the perfect way to describe the effect that Stephanie Hermann, UK Sales Coordinator has on every Playdale customer that she deals with on a daily basis. So much so, that her customer care skills have now been recognised not only by numerous happy customers, but by Playdale’s Managing Director Barry Leahey. He recently presented Stephanie with the prestigious ‘Employee of the Moment’ award for her (in his words) “World Class Customer Service”.

Following numerous emails that Stephanie has received directly, praising her levels of customer service,  Barry himself recently received a call from a client, specifically to tell him how impressed he was with the way Stephanie had dealt with his enquiry, from beginning to end.   This was the feedback that prompted Barry to decide that Stephanie would be a very worthy recipient of the Playdale ‘Employee of the Moment’ award.

We spoke to Stephanie after receiving her award. “Being presented with our Employee of the Moment award was a privilege. When I am interacting with our customers both on the phone or via email, I always aim to communicate in a way that I would hope to be spoken to if I was seeking advice or a service from a company. I think it is imperative to understand the needs of clients and assist them in the best way possible. Whether it be offering expert advice or putting them in contact with the relevant department. I hope every customer that I speak to truly feels like they are ‘King’;  because they are.”

Well done Stephanie, keep up the good work!

Inclusive Play – Integrate, Don’t Segregate
Monday, 13th April 2026

Inclusive playground design, done well, is invisible, not because it’s hidden, but because it’s so naturally woven into the design that no child has to think about it. They just play. Together.
